The pineapple is a plant and not a fruit but it produces a fruit of the same name . This tropical plant produces fruit between fourteen and twenty months after planting. For many years, pineapple was considered a rare and precious commodity.
In our range of fresh fruits, we offer pineapples from our certified producers in Ivory Coast, Benin and Togo. This exotic fruit has many therapeutic virtues. A very good antioxidant power.

Some of these fruits can weigh up to 2 kg and are generally oval in shape, protected by a hard skin and scales, with an upper end decorated with showy green leaves like a crown. The pulp is yellow, juicy, not very fibrous, soft, very sweet and very fragrant. When the pineapple is ripe, its pulp is firm but soft, the leaves can be torn off with a strong traction and the aroma is more intense at the bottom. It is eaten fresh and preserved.
It has a white flesh very appreciated for its very sweet honey taste. Even ripe, it keeps its green color.

Smooth Cayenne Pineapple
